DISC Profile

Cultivate individual self-awareness, improve teamwork, and make conflict more productive using insights gained from the DISC Profile. This powerful personality profiling tool is used by thousands of organizations and millions of users worldwide every year to understand and navigate style differences, as well as drive increased individual performance and organizational success.

Self-awareness of personality style is the first step towards enhanced individual performance, as well as increased team coherence and collaboration and positive leadership impact. The DISC Profile is a powerful yet straightforward personality style assessment that uncovers key motivators, personal strengths, communication preferences, and behavioral traits. This information provides participants with helpful, practical, and actionable insights which guide them towards more positive and productive outcomes when working across multiple personality styles in the workplace. DISC Profile insights promote performance and productivity for individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations of all sizes and types.

The DISC Profile is based on DISC theory, researched by Dr. William Moulton Marston at Harvard University. It is a method of identifying predictable actions and personality traits within human behavior. Marston narrowed these predictable personality traits into the four DISC personality profiles: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. No DISC style is better than any other. Everyone uses each of the four styles as they go about their daily lives. That said, the DISC Profile helps participants find out which style they tend to gravitate toward most, i.e. their comfort zone. With that knowledge, participants can understand underlying tendencies and preferences and adapt behaviors to interact with others more effectively.

Organizations commonly use the DISC Profile to:
  • Increase self-awareness in individual contributors, leaders, and teams
  • Enhance leadership effectiveness by providing insights into dispositions and preferred working styles of employees and other team members
  • Diagnose and improve communication and productivity barriers that may inhibit individuals, leaders, and teams from reaching higher levels of success
  • Increase productivity and collaboration by improving conflict management and resolution skills in teams
